Come on Mark, give us some basketball commentary. I know you can't talk Mav trade, but give us some thoughts on the league goings-ons. This has been a crazy off-season!

I love hearing Mark talk about business! He is one of the most level-headed guys out there, and one of the only ones who really knows what's going out and desires to share his knowledge.

Mixing in a small amount of educational information is more than welcome. I came to this site expecting the latest update on the Mavericks but I walked away thinking about something else. I consider myself to be a business enthusiast; be it the Mavericks or the next big thing in high tech. You are entitled to your feelings but in this life we are seldom given the luxury of having tunnel vision or being one-dimensional. That's my thought for the day. ;-)

Every tech company has overhang. It's called stock option pool. No company has to buy back shares. They can just let dilution happen. Did Broadcast.com issue shares and not buyback?

I have no problem with companies issuing options to employees and not expensing them. However, I don't like it when those options are at prices way below the current price. There should atleast be the appearance of an incentive to increasing shareholder value.
