Dang its humid…

I promise never to complain about the weather in Dallas again. Dang. This must be the opposite of a dry heat. I l ove Miami. Have a condo here. Love to visit. BUt i prefer not to have to swim through humidity !

Any, game time countdown 3 hours and counting. Wont be able to blog during the game, Im not going to bring a laptop to the arena. I will bring my new sidekick 3. Got an early edition. I love to play with new toys, and this one is off to a great start. Its also a great way to make the time till tip off go faster. Otherwise I would go crazy.

YOu want to say that this is a huge game tonight. But why. EVERY game in the finals is huge. HUGE HUGE HUGE.

THey are going to come out playing out of their minds. The crowd is going to be nuts. We have to be able to take the early barrage of punchs.

GO MAVS !

  1. Bueno.. (Oh well) Apparently you mavs are not humble at all… Don’t take it too seriously..being passionate is one thing but ya’ll cowboys are obsessed.. I just wanted to share a though about how the Miami community feels about Mark Cuban. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c199/biancaxmd/marknotwelcomed.gif

  2. Wades 42 points is obviously the exception and not the norm. Wade won this game for the heat plain and simple. The possibility of Wade doing that again is very very slim. Wade carried the dead weight to the end and managed to limp over the mavericks by two points. Yes, LIMP! Name anybody on the Heat that put in a considerable contribution to overcome the mavericks. NADA! WOW, shaq hit his free throws?! OOHHH! Again, the exception not the norm. This game was in the mavericks favor and Wade decided to wake up and take the reigns….if you think a repeat of game 3 will happen again ….you better think again!

    Go MAVS!

  3. great game last night, I still believe the Mavs are in great shape. We took the best punch the Heat can offer and only last at the end by 2. The Mavs still haven’t peaked this series. Wish you guys and the best and bring home the Championship!!!!!!

  6. If the Mavs take at least one game in Miami, they will win this series. Hopefully the “hometown” officials won’t effect the game. A bunch of stooges running that game….pissing me off to no end. Dirk was freakin mugged at the end and then they called that bullshit foul on Terry. What a joke.

  7. Went to bed bothered. Woke up in the middle of the night upset about the loss. This morning I was still really bummed. I grew up watching the Dallas Cowboys, not the Dallas Mavericks. But my passion for the Mavericks is equal with the Cowboys now. I take these losses hard. They really get me down. By the way, the Heat announcer is the worst announcer I have ever heard. He totally over does it with his announcing! I am ready to be back home but I think we will win the series while in Miami. We got pick ourselves up and show them who’s boss. Everything’s better in Texas, including Basketball. Soon we will be wrapped up in football and Terrell Owens.

  10. One game, one game must I remind you it is one game. Heat fans come back and talk smack when you can do it 2-3 times in a row. Of course we all know the Heat stood a greater than not chance of winning. After getting embarassed for two games in a row and finally getting to go back and play for your home crowd they should have won! No matter what the gold is coming home to Dallas! Better luck next year oh wait, you have alot of aging players on your team so most might not make it back in 07! 🙂

Oh and about Mark at least we have an owner that gives a rats ass about his team and fans. Who is your owner? That’s what I thought nobody knows or has heard of him. Cheers!

  11. Turns out it was the *late* punches, not the *early* punches, that were the problem.

The difference maker may have been the time-out AJ *didn’t* call during the Heat’s last run.

Still, it was a good fight. The Mavs are the better team, and they’ll take the Heat down. Split 4 and 5, then get it done at home in 6 – the Mav’s fans deserve it.

  12. In the NBA playoffs…every game is its own entity. Momentum from one game to the next is over rated. My guess is that in the next game, there will be runs by the Mavs and runs by the Heat. The Heat have had few answers for the Mavs thus far. The Mavs have had answers for everything Miami has done. If D Wade is able to sustain the performance he had the other night for the rest of the series, then the guy deserves to win it all. He cant though. He will wear down. Mavs in 5 or 6. Mark, dont worry about your tickets lottery…you wont have a game 7.

Mavs shall prove to the world that “The championship heart of Mavs and Mavs fans can not be altered by the offical!!!! in game 4”

  15. It’s easy to see Wade and company will be driving to the basket now. The defense must adjust by providing help when Wade has the ball.

It seems our slow down game works against us because we don’t drive to the basket when the time is up on the shot clock. We simply hold the ball outside then attempt to throw up some outside shot. Poor time and ball management when we have the lead.

  16. Comming out of the woodwork?

In the words of Scottie Pippen 6 Time NBA CHAMP…”A series really doesn’t begin until a game has been played on both home courts”.

    So…LET THE SERIES BEGIN!!!

I love how our Miami City Mayor sent the Coast Guard out to make Mark Cuban take a Go Mavs banner off of his rented Yacht sailing around the arena. They should have just sank it!

Heat had 20 Turnovers in game 3. Those or things that can be resolved from watching film. Being out hustled on the boards is something that can not be resolved with watching film. Dallas has been out rebouned 2 times during the playoffs. Both by the HEAT.

Oh and I wonder why Mark Cuban doesn’t post anything up as quickly as he did in the first 2 games. There is internet connection in all arenas if I am correct.

    LETS GO HEAT!!!!!

  19. Unreal last night, Shaq made his free throws?! Wow, just think if he had gone 0-6. Instead, Shaq came through for the team, 4-6. What ultimately won the game was foul shots were made by Miami and Dallas started celebrating too early with a 13 point lead, and started playing conservative to run out the clock. Most of the shots attempted were at the buzzer. They were hurried shots, rather than just taking the ball to the hoop. Run the clock out when there is 2 minutes to play, not 4-5 minutes left to play. As the saying goes ” Do not count your chickens before they are hatched.” MAVs stay focus and play every minute of the game. Last night, Miami showed they had “heart”. I know the Dallas MAVs have “heart” too. Stick to the gameplan. Focus on the short-term goal, win the next game on Thursday! The short-term goal needs to be achieved, in order for the MAVs to reach their long-term goal. So FOCUS on the SHORT-TERM GOAL!!!

On Thursday MAVs, play your game and quiet that arena. Thursday will be a new game, and it is yours game to win.

  25. TCz…Please be more original with your posts, come on, no win ski was played out his 3rd year in the league. As far as the Heat in 7, good luck with that. Your coach deserves to be humiliated on a national stage for the B.S. he pulled with Stan Van Gundy. What a p.o.s. Ya’ll played a good game last night though. But come on, you think that was Shaq???? Hell, he almost got outplayed by Dampier again. It was all Wade and that Alien head Walker.

I also wanted to ask you what your perspective was of the energy that filled the American Airlines arena last night from an outsider’s point of view? I was not fortunate to go to the game but, watched the entire game and am continuously astounded by Dwayne Wade. He is truly something special.

  29. I don’t think most Miami fans (which I am one of) will claim that the Heat are a better team. We are mismatched all the way – ya’ll are too quick and too deep for us most of the time. But come on, you guys are starting to sound like Detroit here with all the reffing complaints. Shit happens, refs are human. Almost every single call in every single game can be questioned by either side. Reffing error is just part of the game. It helped us last night, it’ll probably hurt us tomorrow night, that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

    Thursday…it’s on!

  31. Couldnt help myself…just had to respond to post 172…HUH??? Joe Dumars should get some credit…He took the Pistons out of mediocrity and turned them into perinial contenders. As for spending money on superstars…well if that one player can make other players around him better then he is worth it. Case in point Labron James…I’d spend every bit of my cap room on him because he is that caliber of player…Good point however about Van Horn…Useless, worhtless, hapless are the three words that describe him best. His occassional (rare) trey cannot come close to his lack of intensity and defensive liability. And if, like last night, he misses everything he throws up, then he has no point even being on the Mavs sideline. Speaking of throwing up, that’s what I wanted to do while watching the Mavs unravel on “D” in the last 6 minutes of last night’s game.

You also forgot his nearly 14 plus million dollar a year contract. It’s so sad how stupid these GM’s are. What could you possibly see in his game to justify that much of your cap for. of course, the cap is a joke anyway, but you could an actual superstar for that money or about 4 good role players.

Most NBA GM’s are just ex-players that played when sports didn’t count anyway back in the 70’s. Why put “ex-athletes” ibn business positions. Just asinine. Isiah proves that one. Joe Dumars gets waaay to much credit. if he could have taken Wade or even Bosh, the pistons woul be playing now.

  33. Ok…You want to talk about officiating!!! Let’s take a look at some film. Clip one…Alonzo Mourning tipping Jason Terry’s shot while still on the rim and no goal tending being called. Clip 2…Shaq with both arms completely extended while pushing Dampier through and out the other side of the key to secure a rebound. Clip 3…Shaq sliding under Josh Howard while Josh drives to the hoop then taking a tumble to the ground ala Manu (as if Josh Howard could take Shaq to the carpet). Clips 4, 5, 6…etc. Dirk driving the lane and being hammered without so much as an errant whistle. Wade shot only 8 fewer free throws than the entire Mavs team shot. So I dont want to hear how the refs win games for the Mavs. The Mavs have battled inept officiating all season and last night was no exception. Jack Neis needs a good seeing eye dog and Danny Crawford needs to write fiction with his wonderful imaginationn and where was Ken Mauer and did he ever blow his whistle? Nuf said.

Last comment…can we get the cartoon network to air next years finals…ABC’s coverage stinks. The camera angles are atrocious, picture quality is like watching 70’s TV, and the commentators are – well – let’s just say stupid. Sometimes you wonder if they are watching the same game! TNT did a far better job and Ernie and crew at least know something about basketball and are very entertaining. ABC needs to get its act together point blank!!!

All I wanted to hear someone say (and I heard it on a clip from Dirk this morning) was “WE NEED TO IMPROVE OUR REBOUNDING!” My group all lost our voices screaming at the Jumbotrons when there were 4 Heat players under our net to rebound – and none of the Mavericks! The best of the game was Q3 – and that was when we played consistently, REBOUNDED, and pulled ahead.

    Comment by Vickie K -

  42. Please stop blaming the Ref’s for everything people. It’s really bad form. If the Ref’s lost us(the Mavs) this game, which calls specifically were wrong? The foul against Shaq when he didn’t even touch Dirk comes to mind. I thought Haslem fouled Dirk when he made that steal towards the end of the game. So yeah, there were a couple of questionable calls. Did Dirk not have a chance to tie it up with a free throw at the end? The Mavs had a chance to win, they just didn’t execute at the end, and they had no answer for D-Wade. They’ll try again tomorrow.

As for the Dan Crawford conspiracy theories. Here are the playoff results of years past when Crawford was the ref:

    -result-opponent-note-
    -W-Utah-1st playoff w in a decade-
    -L-SanAnton-Mavs 36% from field-
    -L-Sac-gave up too many layups-
    -L-Portland-Mavs 37% from field-
    -L-Sac-gave up too many layups-
    -L-Sac-gave up too many layups-
    -L-SanAnton-Spurs were way better-
    -L-Sac-shot 34% from field-
    -L-Hou-Didn’t contest McGrady shot-
    -L-Pho-Suns shot 54% from 3pt-

So yes, we were 1 – 10 in playoff games where Dan Crawford officiated. But there were many factors involved in those games besides the officials. For instance, in 2001, the Spurs were a much better team, and the Mavs choked(Finley was 1 – 17 shooting, the team was 0 – 11 from 3pt). In 2002 against Sac, our defense was more open than the Grand Canyon. We didn’t contest their layups, they got everything easy to the basket. That was why we lost(and that was the common element for the whole series, Dan Crawford officiated one game, we lost four, it was our lack of defense). If any games had questionable officiating, it was probably in 2003. Against Portland(in the game Dan Crawford called), Portland shot 42 FT to our 13. Bias? Maybe. Or maybe Portland, with Rasheed Wallace and company, took the ball to the basket more, and we settled for jumpshots. I don’t know.

My point is, the whole 1-10 when Danny Crawford calls a game doesn’t mean anything. One has to consider that several of those games were against superior opponents, and, we often didn’t play any defense to speak of.

So if the Ref’s cost us last night’s game, again, which calls, specifically, did Dan Crawford make which changed the game? Did Dan Crawford score any of Wade’s 42 pts? Did he shake the rim to knock the ball out of the basket on Dirk’s missed free throw? Did he cause Dirk and Stack to miss shots early?

Btw, the game where Dallas blew out Phoenix, Dan Crawford was the ref. What’s the explanation there, David Stern’s check didn’t clear, so Crawford gave the game to the Mavs? Or maybe we just played better…

Really, this complaining about the Ref’s just makes me sick, makes me want to stop watching the games at all. It used to be fun, now it’s all about pointing fingers.

And on an unrelated note, when the Mavs are holding that championship trophy, please, somebody, anybody, thank Nellie, and point out to the world that there is NO way in hell the Mavs would be in this position were it not for Don Nelson. Maybe Nelson wasn’t the guy to get us over the top, but he sure as hell was the guy to take a team with absolutely no hope whatsoever, and build it into a contender. Without Nellie we don’t draft Dirk. Think where we’d be if we’d followed conventional wisdom and drafted Paul Pierce, or worse, kept Tractor Traylor. Anybody see the Celtics play this year? That could have been us if we’d taken Paul Pierce.

So please, even if Cuban can’t swallow his ego to do it, Del Harris, or Avery, somebody thank Nellie for getting all of you to this point. It’s only fair. Do the Right Thing. That’s it. I got it. I’m gone.

  43. Tough break in last night’s game. It was great game to watch, tho. I love those games with the suspense right down to the wire. That was 2 great teams of players giving it their all.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the humidity played a major factor, too. It takes some getting used to. I lived in Dallas for 25 years and relocated to Corpus Christi and the humidity really does take some getting used to.

Thanks for making it so much fun to watch! It wouldn’t be fun if there was no contest.

Best of luck in the next game. I’ll be rooting for you. Mark Cuban, you are one of the people I really admire. You’ve put your money where your mouth is and I respect that!

  45. Forget the ref’s, yeah they sucked, but it’s not all their fault. We lost the game by getting cocky…

After Miami has led the whole game and is having a good night (probably the best we will see from them), why do you go into “protect” mode!? C’mon, 13 points up, 6 minutes left, why try to protect that lead – keep adding to it and get another 20+ lead. That gets Miami frustrated and off their game, and Shaq will have to sit down since he can keep up with the fast pace. Could have even made DWade get the last foul…

I want to see us blow the shit out of them for the next two games and lets come home for the pre-planned parade (don’t get me started there).

    Comment by Chris -

  46. That was a steal? Haslem manhandles Dirk’s arm and that’s a steal? Then he goes down the court and Terry hits more of the ball than Udonis did with Dirk, and THAT’S a foul??

I expect refs to blow calls but that one turned the game. It was huge and it was so obviously a reach. Scratch that, it wasn’t a reach it was a mauling.

Otherwise mavs had a chance and they blew it..it’s only one game. It wasn’t much of a win. I sure wouldn’t hang my hat on it if I was a Heat fan.

The “refs won” the SA series for us? Are you high? The Mavs were called for a LOT more fouls than the Spurs in that series, and couldn’t catch a break in Game 7 from the refs. At one point in Game 7, Little Timmy had shot three times as many free throws as the ENTIRE MAVS TEAM! Yes, you MUST be high–or just completely stupid. There must be uber-geeks working for you who can turn up the heat on the Heat and help you take live-blogging to a new level. Cameragal (pics, DV, YouTube!) and Typerguy (there are people who can type way faster than you can talk – just tell them what to type and THEY’LL get it to the net).

You focus on the game and on having NBA Finals fun. We want to know what it feels like to be sitting at Game 4 in a hostile arena. Interview some Mav fans, ask them about the creepy Miami Whites thing – is it as spooky in real life as it is on TV? Did you ever dream you’d be the owner of an NBA team (or a player) as a kid (and who was that player? mine was Pistol Pete). Give us in-game observations about Avery from an insider perspective. See if you can interview a Heat player right before halftime – shout some questions at Shaq. You’re the Mavs’ biggest fan, a blogger and a billionaire. Have some fun and show the world what the internet can be.

The fate of the entire blogosphere is in your hands, Mark Cuban.

  63. Dallas had the opportunity to end this series in the 4th but their strategy of playing the clock instead of the HEAT and allowed FLASH to change the course of this series. I am not proclaiming that Dallas still will not win the series… it’s now going to be a dog fight.

    Comment by Dennis Miller -

  64. Raised in Miami, there for the first ever game and first ever win but I now live in Dallas and have to deal with this incessent whining about everything.

First Mark Cuban’s whining about the heat and humidity, next time bring a snorkel (just kidding Mark, it is dang Humid there and I refuse to visit my parents between June and September)

Second the whining abou the refs, it all evens out during the course of the game. Every team, and Mark Cuban would likely agree with this statement, would love nothing more than for the refs to swallow their whistles with 4 minutes left in the game. Let the players win the game not the refs. They called the fouls that needed to be called and let the players play the rest of the time.

I think the Mavs will win the series but it will have to be done back in Dallas because Miami is going to fight as hard as possible to even it up tomorrow.

    Comment by Miami Michael -

  68. Hey guys, quit whining about the refs. Yeah, there were some homer calls.

But what about all those 3-second violations the refs called? Yeah, they were the right call. But in games when the refs really want Shaq’s team to win, they don’t get called. (And yeah, I’ve seen a few. Anybody remember Kings-Lakers from the WCF a few years back?)

I thought the Heat played as well as they could, and the Mavs played at about fifty percent. A lot of guys were just missing shots. Dirk dropped 30, and Howard had 21 (incidentally, this is the first time the Mavs have been beaten when Howard drops 20), but Stack had a terrible night (1-9), KVH missed both his shots… the Jet made 50%, but only had a couple FTs… and the Mavs got hammered on the boards, 49-34 (16-7 on the offensive glass). Haslem, Shaq and Wade together outrebounded the Mavs (35 boards between those three). In particular, I thought Haslem came up big; part of the reason for the game 2 blowout was because of his shoulder injury.

The Mavs got to get back to protecting their defensive boards. They do that, I don’t see Miami winning another game.

Hey I recall a NBA finals sweep by a Texas team of a Florida team way back in ’95. The Shaq and Orlando got swept by Houston. The Rockets had a bunch of class acts – Hakeem and Clyde, and the Magic had a bunch of mouths – Penny and Shaq.

There is no way you can compare a Hall of Famer and one of the top three best centers of all time to ANYONE on the MAVS. I’m sorry, I must wash my hands now from typing those things in even so much as the same comment.

  76. I’ve been reading this blog for a couple of days now and I find one thing to be fascinating. Except for that idiot who goes by the name of Dennis, the Mav haters didn’t have the courage to voice their opinions until after the Mavs lost tonight. I guess it’s easy for some people to be cowards but it doesn’t make it any less pitiful.

And why would any haters post on here anyway? Are you people that insecure? That immature? Geesh, we’re surrounded by imbeciles!!

Mr. Cuban, you and your team have my respect and admiration. I hate to say it but my gut told me that the Mavs would probably lose this one. There’s a reason that it’s a 4 out of 7 structure and we’ve just seen that in action. This isn’t the end of the world!! The Mavs will come back from this better than ever. Personally, I would love nothing more than to see the Mavs win at home but of course, that means losing again and that’s not a pleasant thought for anyone.

Y’all hang in there and keep your chins up. Y’all have what it takes to bring this home.

  77. Speaking of Refs…Bennett Salvatore is another crappy ref that “I Feel” is against the Mavs. Anyone remember the Phoenix game when Nash and Salvatore were laughing it up and bumping fists? Refs have there likes and dislikes. If a ref likes you, you will get calls your way and if not, than you are screwed.
BUT, this is not why the Mavs lost the game though. It was just a circus out there the last 4 minutes. I still have no idea what Avery was thinking having Dirk throw the inbounds pass out? Isn’t Dirk the only one that can shoot over anyone, but let’s have him throw the ball in. Come on Avery, you are smarter than that. Anyways, MAVS in 5.

I’m sure it struck me as more humorous reading your post at this hour, but I had to comment on the omniscient thing … if you were omniscient, you wouldn’t need to ask if anyone saw your first post … you’d know! 😉

Maybe it’s clairvoyant you’re thinking of … dunno, cuz I’m neither omniscient nor clairvoyant.

Pretty good read on the game, though, Matt.

Is it ok to admit I’m a newbie fan of the game? Hope so, cuz I just did …

The story of the ‘coach of the year’ sucked me into the basketball vortex … to which, I fear, there is no escape!

Plus, it’s cool that the owner is a fan who hasn’t felt the need to tone down his own ‘fan experience’ for the sake of ‘business etiquette.’

All in all, pretty cool …

It’s just that the Mavericks as great of a team as they are, they will let a team back in the game. There is like a small window of opportunity and obviously Miami took advantage of that tonight so congrats to your heat on the victory.

  89. Guess what Mav’s fans, this series should be 2-1 Miami. Think about it, the only reason the Mavs are leading this series is because the Heat can’t keep ahold of the ball. Turnovers killed them in game 1, helped blow the game 2 wide open, and almost killed them tonight (20 turnovers and the Mavs couldn’t take advantage?)

I’m a Heat fan but I’m not delusional enough to think they are playing well enough to win this series. That being said, if the Heat can limit themsleves to 10 turnovers or less in the next couple of games, you guys will need to cancel that victory parade 🙂

These are great, well thought out comments!! How about this, did anyone notice anything different about how the MAVS played in the fourth quarter as opposed to the previous 11? Was there anyone on this planet who didn’t know who the ball was going to when Haslem stole it? Did anyone not know what the last play was going to be, considering Dirk is inbounding? The MAVS made some mistakes in this game, turn off the waterworks and realize that in your first trip to the finals…stuff happens! When you beat a team merciless the first two games and start throwing out random spurts of stupidity, it takes away from the game. Be happy it was a competitive game, MAVS didn’t win this one, maybe they will win the next two, maybe it will go six or seven, the point is…ENJOY IT!! It’s not like the MAVS have had a lock down on finals appearances, one injury can take it away as fast as it came. Did you expect Shaq to roll over, have you never seen a HEAT game or watched ESPN, Wade and the HEAT are similar to the MAVS…they both have an aversion for winning late? The reason Wade is on highlight films, covers and at All-Star games is because he is good, not because he’s overwhelmingly good looking. You can’t expect REALISTICALLY to steamroll through a team like that.

  93. Yeah, Yeah, I know that the refs can’t be blamed completely for this loss but they did blindly miss a lot of crucial calls in the end which truly affected outcome. But the Heat fans are delusional if they think that their team won this based only on their own talent (or that the mavs “couldn’t take the heat” pssh), they played their top performance tonight, which wasn’t really anything great. Dallas played hard but not their hardest and I think that this will be the Heat’s best game of the series and the Mavs’ worst.. So it only gets better from here for the mavs!

And oh yeah, Wade’s 4 or 5 step traveling drives me insane!

  101. Also another point I’d like to address… Didn’t anyone listen to Dirks last game post game comments?

Dirk said something along the lines, “I think in the end, we played more to keep the lead instead of building on it.”

Yet they come back and the coaches did the same EXACT THING!!!! Only this time, the mavs didnt have a 27 pt cushion to break their fall… they had half that cushion…

    Comment by Johnny Tran -

  102. We gave it away. That’s all. I can say that Miami did play their best and they barely won. So I am still confident that we will take this in 5. Also, we need to stay on Wade when he’s baseline. No one steps up at all to cover. I got to blame Avery for having Dirk throw the ball in with 1 sec left. I have no clue why that happend?

Also, I knew with Wade in there with 5 fouls the refs were not going to call a foul on him what so ever. We still should of attacked Wade into forcing him to get his 6th, but we failed to do so.

    Lessoned Learned? I hope so.

    Comment by J. Daniels -

  103. Even though there were some questionable calls the went against the Mavs, they totally blew that one. Got off the game plan or just didn’t defend with intensity in the last 5 min. Wade was the one on foul trouble yet they played him soft. Or maybe the Mavs doesn’t have that step-on-the-throat killer instinct as written in the Miami Herald and posted in STACK.

Also, everybody hesitated after a penetration instead of pulling up and shooting the short jumpers. Or dishing out instead of dishing to the weak side. Resulting in travel, offensive, or ball stolen. Lastly, give and go passer is just a second late.

Hopefully better execution and no sloppy plays next time. Go Mavs!

    Comment by Texaspeklat -

  104. I don’t think they look like doctors … I think it looks more like an arena full of INMATES !!!

    Comment by Gary -

  105. Horrible. Blowing a 13-pt lead in the 4th qtr – horrible. Allowing D Wade to drive to the basket for 2 (and 1 down the stretch) just about any time he wanted to – horrible. Not driving to the basket on D Wade while he had 5 fouls for most of the 4th qtr – horrible.

I also believe the calls went very much against the Mavs, but in a game like this, you have to play above it, and don’t let the calls make a difference. The Mavs were in position to take this away from Miami and put them away with no hope. One game like this gives them all of the hope in the world.

I don’t want to knee-jerk about this game, but the Mavs had a chance to bury these guys. If they lose this series, they will look back on this game and that 4th qtr.

And what was that last call? It didn’t seem like much of a chance to score with that. There are too many things to go wrong with that play. I was surprised by that call.

Now D Wade is the best thing in the world and the Heat are world beaters, just like that!

This was a very BIG opportunity wasted for a franchise that can’t afford to waste opportunities.

The difference in the game was the Heat driving to the basket, and the Mavs not driving to the basket, until the last 2 scores in the game. Where was that in the 2nd half, especially with D Wade in foul trouble?

The effort was not there by the Mavs down the stretch. They were settling for jumpers, and they only reason they were in it was that they were hitting those jumpers at a high percentage, but it caught up to them.

    Comment by Terry -

  106. the MAVS just choked! Lets hope this hiccup doesn’t turn into a full fledged indigestion. 3 big points: (1)Someone should have tried and gotten a foul out of wade (2)Dirk: 90% FT shooter; the 10% hit at the wrong time (3)Shaq: putting down those 2 FTs!

Oh, and i want Shaq dead as he’s a peon. Don’t need details, just do it.

    Comment by JR Ewing -

  111. I hope you shell out the bucks for the JET even if it results in him being overpaid. The best thing for a team with Dirk is a PG who can shoot with a mid-range game, and Terry seems to be the best at that in the league.

Even if he is overpaid as a result, he fits in so well with your lineup as a result that having him is a must. Age isn’t as big of a concern for guys who have an outside shot.

    Comment by Andrew Palmer -

  112. Mavs lookin tough in the second half!! Dirk and Josh won’t be denied. The Heat’s six man rotation is getting tired, and they’re about to fold.

ABC has got to get rid of the sky cam. It’s a terrible angle on the game and the camera can’t keep up with the ball. If they want an alternative angle, use a camera on the baseline or above the backboard.

  123. I thought Mavs started well, but didn’t like the way they finished the first quarter. Besides, I have never understood the point of making the move for last shot in 5-6 seconds. Why not in 7-8 sec to give some room, instead of a hurried up (in this case, a late) shot?

First timer to the blog….Just want to Wish you and the MAVS the best of Luck!

I am looking at the pre-game broadcast and notice everyone in white shirts for Miami…Do we have something going on for our Mav fans attending the game to receive a T-Shirt also? I have never attended game and not sure how it works but thought it would be neat if the fans attending could have blue and green t-shirts to wear so when we watch on TV, it will look uniformed as the Miami fans. We can’t be out done in Texas. Everything is bigger and better in TEXAS!! If you do have a t-shirt give away, send me one!

  127. Hey Mark,
This is the pivotal 3rd game and the Mav’s will need to hold their own by playing good defense, as in the Mavs keeping their hands up and blocking long range shots or treys. Otherwise, Let’s Go, Mav’s, and beat the Heat! If the Mavs win tonite, I think they are on their way to becoming one of the greatest teams ever.

Mavs is just a better team and whatever people say about Shaq and Wade, I just don’t see any threats in Walker, Posey, Haslem, Williams or anybody else. 150. Dallas is just a better team than Miami. This team wouldn’t even be in the finals right now if Wade hadn’t been on a hot streak and the Pistons hadn’t self destructed completely.

The only way Miami could even take this series 7 games is if Wade played the same way he did in the Detriot series and I don’t see that happening. He’s already clinging to the two week long FLU and the ref’s “bad calls” as his excuses.

Of course if Wade shakes it off and starts playing well they could make this a series but I think they are preparing to fail now. Riley! “What happened to the no excuses rule?” OMG!

  160. The NBA has reverted, courtesy of Pat Riley, to Stone Age basketball. Can’t run fast? Can’t keep up with your younger, quicker opponents? Got a roster full of old timers? No problem! Just bump and push and shove and hold! Call it Neanderball!! Caveman basketball at its finest!
The NBA also has an obvious desire to creat a new poster child. They have also obviously chosen Dywane wade. Hence, send him to the line 25 times, because he couldn’t possibly shoot 11 for 28 from the field because of good defense, could he? NO, he is obviously being fouled, especially at crucial junctures in the game!! What a farce!
The NBA is a basketball league, just not a PROFESSIONAL basketball league.

    Comment by Patrick Mertz -

  161. “Oh, and as far as the suspension on Stackhouse… I see it as appropriate. He went for Shaquille’s head, not the ball, with his forearm. ANY player would have gotten a suspension for that.”

And Shaq’s elbows go for players heads everytime he touches the ball. Recall Stack bloody head, or Shaq’s shot to Dirk temple. Or the obvious elbow to Harris when he tapped Shaqira for a simple foul. Should that warrant a suspension. Doubt it…the NBA protects it’s “stars”, even if they’re shells of their former selves.

    Comment by Jared M. -

  162. Stu Jackson sucks! This is the guy that suspened Stackhouse for Game 5. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jackson or any of his friends and family have money on Miami. It sickens me that the NBA would deliberatly try to manipulate a series. If Miami should win, their victory will be forever tainted by the fact the the NBA intervened to manipulate the outcome of the series.

    Comment by Ken -

  163. Oh, and as far as the suspension on Stackhouse… I see it as appropriate. He went for Shaquille’s head, not the ball, with his forearm. ANY player would have gotten a suspension for that. I think calling it an attempt to end Shaq’s carreer is a bit much, but definitely warranted a suspension. IMO

  165. I am a neutral fan of these Finals and I must say. In watching the games and observing these blogs. Dallas fans, coach and especially owner are such whiners. Yes, that last foul on Wade was a bit touchy. It was a foul, but one they shouldn’t have called because of the timing. But I saw plenty of fouls committed by both teams that went uncalled, throughout the entire season. Wade getting a technical for hanging on the basket… then 2 minutes later the same thing on the other end going uncalled. Players from BOTH teams getting pushed and shoved and no calls being made. And let me ask you Mav fans; Didn’t Dirk set an NBA Postseason record for most free-throw attempts this postseason? How can you possibly say that Mavs don’t get calls? The facts are that:

    a) The home team will probably get the benefit of some calls (Dallas goes to the line much more at home)

    b) The more aggressive team will always get more calls than the perimeter shooting team (Which Dallas is).

    c) BOth teams have plenty of chances to win the game. One stop by Dallas on Payton going to the basket, Wade’s jumper, whatever… and none of this would be an issue.

When this series started, I was hoping for a Mav’s win… but after listening to all the whining and crying, I will be routing for the Heat.

Mavs, quit whining, quit passing blame, make some shots, make the crucial free-throws (Dirk has screwed up on a few of those the last few games), make some rebounds and you wont need help from the officiating. And the occasional missed call which affects ALL teams will be a non factor. Act like men already and not little whiney babies

    Comment by Alberto -

  166. “And yes, the series had consisted of good, clean basketball until Stackhouse tried to take Shaq’s career away with that Cheap shot into the stands.

I see you fail to mention the countless intentional Shaq elbows thrown to the Mavericks heads. Non of which were called or reviewed.

ummm, the refs really did a number on the Heat, but they previaled anyway. and if you pretend to be a cowboy like that, you should know, GOOD GUYS WEAR WHITE!

I saw alot of good folks in Game 5, but one guy wearing the shirt of a guy that tried to take Shaq’s career away with a cheap Don Cheney move, running down the court for a cheap shot. Avery was lucky he wasn’t kicked out for calling that play.

Ummm, two great doubledigit comebacks, overtime game decided by one point with the lead changing back and forth, Nowitzki and Wade trading shots until Wade won, is not exciting?

    Wow.

And yes, the series had consisted of good, clean basketball until Stackhouse tried to take Shaq’s career away with that Cheap shot into the stands. Cuban said that Shaq should have been suspended for going into the stands since Mbega got that suspension. Talk about seeing things through Mavs colored glasses.

Great series, home team winning each one so far, and Avery and Cuban getting away with ALOT of whining about the refs with no fines. Nowitzki kicked the ball into the stands, automatic suspension, but not likely to happen since the refs are owned by Cuban. Shocking.

Shame Miami has to leave the neutral court and go back to the Cuban owned Dallas arena where the refs are even more scared of Cuban.

You cry and bit** like a woman with PMS! Your team is so pampered that they are the new Detroit Pistons when it comes to crying about fouls! You have no knowledge of the game and just don’t belong in sports. Nothing personal, I’ll give you credit for being a business genious; but the sports world doesn’t need another Jerry Jones. Please… win or lose, do us all a favor and get the heck out of the game. Your flare for the drama is more suited for a Sundance or Indi film, or maybe a reality television show…you could call it “The Crying Rich Man and his Crying Mavericks” …… Heat in 6! Mavericks back to the cellar of basketball, where they rightfully belong! One final suggestion, think the Mavs should come out to “Cry Me a River” by Justin Timberlake in game 6…after all, that is what you and Avery have become experts on…”Us against the world”, please….deal with the fact Dirk is as good a clutch player as Phil Mickelson, and the rest of the team is a hodge-podge of talent-less, can’t cover Wade, gotta foul Shaq, complain about being roughed-up babies that have lost the true grit it takes to be a champion thanks to your pampering!

He’s got such a gripe on.

    He hates losing. That’s great.

But it’s clear that — and clearly it’s affecting MAVS FANS — he’ll find any reason other than getting beaten, to explain being beaten.

SAD. It sure gets North Texas’s panties in a twist. I bet bullriders complain about the refs too, right?

    Now everybody sees CONSPIRACY.

Here’s to hoping that the NBA forces Cuban out of Mavericks ownership. He’s clearly got no idea that he’s actually part of something bigger. He thinks that they’re all against him.

His team is exposed, is weak, and is frustrated. And he’s not helping.

    Comment by Dave -

  175. In 3rd quarter Miami shoots 18 free throws before they have 1st team foul called on them. Dirk is getting mugged on every curl he runs off the ball.

    Comment by dave -

  176. How about that highlight reel ESPNEWS showed during Nowitzki’s interview? He shot 42% from the field and made some amazing shots down the stretch, but, of course, none of those shots were aired. They showed him miss about five shots. You want to believe and hope that neutrality exists in a sport. You desperately cling to the idea that the best team always wins simply because they are the best team. But, in light of recent events, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to have any faith in the NBA’s neutrality. And with neutrality goes its credibility.

Oh well, so much for a great series. Regardless of who the victor is, this Finals Series has fallen far short of some of the spectacular playoff action in this year’s Playoffs. The Dallas/Spurs ; Cavs/Pistons ; Suns/Lakers series were far more exciting than this one. They consisted of good, clean basketball.

All the advantages are still in Dallas’ favor, the refs are afraid of Cuban on his home court.

    Comment by Classless Stackhouse -

  178. Mark has brought great basketball to Dallas. He’s passionate about the team and in the process, he’s pissed off the NBA. Their blind reaction trumps the six eyes on the court. 196. Hey Rojas:
I am a die-hard Mavs fan…but I agree with you… no need for all the hate. We all need to step back and remember the Heat played hard all season to win their conference, just as the Mavs did. Look at Williams, Wade, Posey and Shaq…they deserve all the props for the great plays that have brought them to the Finals.

As for the refs, you are right…the bad calls usually even out when it’s all said and done. Nobody likes a bad call, but we have to remember these guys are human and only have two eyes and limited angles to see everything. We (the fans) have thousands of eyes watching from every angle available. It’s so much easier for us! So, all in all they do a great job in my opinion.

Now, who is the best team in the Finals? Mavs.. for sure. They are a young team with huge talent and EAGER to listen to the General. No big egos and no big drama stories to distract this young team from its goal. Did you see the famous “kiss” Thomas threw to Dirk in the Phoenix series? There you go, no problem for Dirk…may have made him even more focused to get the job done. I have to believe Dallas has some of the best talent playing the game.

I kinda hope the game goes to seven, just because I love seeing these guys play… but I will enjoy watching Dallas bring it home…now or later is just fine with me. Go Mavs!!

  201. No Dirk is not the next Bird?!? Of course not. I mean he’s real good, but he doesn’t even come close. He doesn’t have enough court knowledge to compare to Bird. And he’s a good shooter, but not as good as Bird.

  202. Hey Mark! I’m from Michigan and hold season tickets for the Detroit Pistons. Since the Pistons lost to Miami in the playoffs, I said I wouldn’t watch the finals at all. However, when the Mavcericks got into the finals, they renewed my interest and I must say, have NOT let me down. My girlfriends and I will be watching and cheering for Dallas. By the way, we think your wife is one lucky woman – YOU’RE ADORABLE! Bring the win home baby!

  203. If they were 5-6, 4-7, or even 3-8, it would be less suspicious. But 1-10 is just too much to be a simple coincidence.

  206. I never really thought that the MAVS would sweep the Heat. We were bound to lose a game or two. Worst case scenario is we have to win OUR home games. I don’t think the Heat can win here in Dallas. Also, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if we win the next two games in Miami…just my 2 cents!

Jerry West is hardly an athlete. he played in what the 60’s. Yeah, thats real. An average high school player these days is a better athlete than him. Thats like saying larry Szonka was a good running back. Geeze. If he played today, he would be a 7th round pick playing on special teams and an occasional blocker. And thats in his prime.

GM is a business position that should be handled by business people. If I had 5 years, I could win a championship. Not hard atall. Maybe one day I can prove that.

    Comment by JR Ewing -

  208. Well said Luis Rojas. Every team gets some home cookin’ and they pretty much called the game crappy both ways, all the way. 29-23 is not enough of a difference to say the refs dictated the outcome. As a MFFL I would have liked to see a few calls go the other way, but I’m sure you have a few of those too. The Mavs lost this game, plain and simple, and DWade took it to them. Shouldn’t be hard to see that. BTW, Amen to the Joey Crawford point, that guy is a horrendous ref.

    Comment by Trey Allmon -

  209. Jennifer: sorry you are disappointed in the blog, but what you see is what we fans love! This appears to be exactly what it is and is meant to be – the freeform exchange of opinions, facilitated by Mark – and nothing more. Mark’s comments and honesty as a regular guy are what makes him so lovable as an owner. Those comments are also what start our discussions. If you are looking for new business ideas, or philosophy – you are probably in the wrong place. And, being a team owner DOES take quite a bit of talent. The experience and knowledge Mark gained with his previous ventures continually assist with his success as the Mavericks owner. There are many professional club owners with a lot of money but no talent, heart, or feel for the business AND the sport. That is what places Mark Cuban in a class by himself. GO MAVS!!! °O°

Although they got Heat stuff. It makes no sense. People who live in Texas should be proud they are doing a great job. GO MAVS!!!!

    Comment by Rose -

  212. MARK — please tell the players that we are behind this team 100%. Last night’s loss was tough — tough to watch for us fans and tough to work through for the players. But the Mavericks are the best team in the NBA and they will bounce back. I personally think Dirk will have another monster game on Thursday night. This is a fight for the NBA Championship — it’s not a cake walk and we fans appreciate that there will be ups and downs. The Heat came out last night and played like the warriors they are — and look how close that was! There’s no way the tired legs of the Heat can keep up with the Mavericks during this next stretch of games. Please ask Avery to run those guys ragged — run Shaq and Wade until they tire. Our guys are in better shape and are more talented — and it’s our date with destiny. Let’s Go, Mavericks!

    Comment by Pam -

  213. Your comments: The Miami Heat are a mediocre basketball team at best. All that happened last night was that the Mavericks showed that the only way for the Heat to beat the Mavs is by Wade and Shaq to drop a combined total of 60-65 points, which is going to be tough to do 3 more times. Also I do not understand where the Heat actually think they are so good they can win the NBA Finals. Pat Riley with that 15 strong,NBA final trophy credit card?? give me a break you have a great player on your team in Wade and an out of his prime big man who thinks he is God, and spare role players at best. Heat fans get over yourselves. GO MAVS MFFL!!!

  214. JR Ewing: Ex-athletes in business positions don’t succeed?

Eh, have you checked The Logo’s resume? (That’s Jerry West.) He’s still having some troubles in Memphis, but I seem to recall he did okay in his previous job (and he has turned the Grizz into a regular playoff team, something of an upgrade from The Doormat Of The Western Conference).

  217. I pulled up this blog with the expectation of reading something at least halfway interesting. Too bad I was disappointed. Maybe it’s just me, but I am not impressed with your new “toys” or the fact that you own an NBA team; owning a team doesn’t take talent, but it takes a hell of a lot of money. So in that regard, congrats…your money is well-earned. I guess I am wanting to see the intellectual side that helped you earn that money. Was it a fluke, or does it really exist? Give some true analysis, and when possible, try to step out of your ego and recognize what is really happening in the world (and in the NBA finals). Pehaps your perspective won’t be so cloudy.

  219. Mark – Get your wallet out and complain some more about the refs.

Wade travels every other time he drives the lane. I could make layups too if you gave me 3 steps to do it.

Even bigger than that is the 6th foul he committed late in the game when we were bringing it up the court that went uncalled. If the refs called that, he wouldn’t have been able to score about 6 points, or block Josh at the end of the game.

Dirk was the man by showing up for the press after the loss tonite. Shaq, the 7 foot infant might play for the Heat, but he can’t take the heat.

    Comment by Gary -

  220. Even though we lost today…
we still love you from the bottom of our hearts 😀
And Dirk…. we love him, too.

As for Harris, he’s cute.. and he’ll learn 😀

So yes, of allllllll the times that Shaq could have missed his free throws… *sigh*

Yay for Dampier! Hurray for the rest of the team, too.

    We’ll get em next time!

Comment by Zehra and Jia -

  221. That happened cuz of the noise in the arena. I would blame the guy who controls the clock, not the refs. I guess you could blame the refs for not correcting it, but you are really reaching if you don’t blame this loss on anyone but Dallas.

They had the double digit lead with 5 minutes left. Haslem got a handful of 2nd chance points, and Wade had his way in the 4th.

Need to look at Dallas blowing the big lead and not the refs.

    Comment by Bryan -

  222. Not Quite – the Miami crowd early on was strangely quiet – kind of like your crowd was in game one (nervous). In fact, they were not vocal at all (at least on the tube, since I was not there) until very late in the fourth. Refs made some wierd calls late against us, as usual, and the team that did not deserve it won it. I still think you should consider some IU help down there – Miami is just a strange “country” to be in – it just feels like “something is missing there”. Believe me – I have tried to live there but Dallas and Tampa are much more “PA and IN” than that materialistic-town. I am available on minutes notice to help you out down there. You should know how to reach me. Sincerely, Tom Petty fan and sole IU Club-Rugby spectator of yours, Pete. I would love to “help you out” – just I did “with” Warren Sapp and the Bucs. Warren Sapp is the best ever! P.S. – Somebody needs to be drinking some beer near the Dallas Bench down there for luck. Also, thanks for flying Gruden to our Super Bowl Victory. Go Mavs!

Seems more logical to put your taller players around the hoop for a quick tap-in.
As brilliant as Avery has been managing the team in the playoffs….this loss is his baby.

    Comment by Glenn Condrey -

  226. These refs are terrible. Haslem continued to push Dirk and no call. Dwade trips Terry and no call. Shaq pushes Damp and no call. Damp foul instead.

Mavs coaching staff were terrible too. 3 straight stagnant plays down the stretch and no timeouts??? Come on!!! Mavs suddenly stopped executing. They gave this game away and the refs made sure of it!

Too bad Riley took out Walker! He was the 6th Mav against the 4 Heat and 3 refs.

Dirk missed! He forgot the lyrics of Hasselhof’s song!

Shaq just took a course on the manu ginobili school of flops tonight. And I thought he hated floppers.

    Comment by Warren -

  227. Shaq pushed Dampier, hence why there was no call on the hanging on the rim. The foul on Dirk, that type just happens. What we’re aruging is the Refs missing 4 seconds ticking off, players being shoved/tripped (and out in the open around the ball). There’s a difference between a close foul on a player that gets screwed up, and blatant misses by the refs to turn the momentum in the heats favor. If we got a few calls at the end there, we’d have stayed up due to free throws and won the game. That my friend, is the bottom line.

    Comment by Jonathan -

  228. Wow! You wouldn’t want to win a ring that easy, would you? You’re first NBA Finals has to be a little suspensful! A 2-1 series, coming off a wild game three… That atmosphere in Miami is going to wild for Game 4. This is what its all about!

  232. I am dismayed to see that Miami won this game. However, one thing that bothered me throughout the entire fourth quarter was Dwayne Wade’s 5 personal fouls. Why not attack him in an attempt to force him to foul out?

Had Wade fouled out that surely would have taken some momentum away from Miami. It would have placed their best player on the bench.

Well, there is always next game.

    Comment by Scott -

  233. Wow, I am surprised with all of the complaining of the refs. True, there were some calls that could have been made, but if you give up a 13 point lead with five minutes left, you need to look at yourself first before you start blaming the refs.

And how quickly we forget the 1st quarter. The phantom foul called when Dirk air balled the shot. The hanging on the rim called against Wade, but not Dampier. The charging foul against Williams when Harris was clearly moving.

Oops, I guess I’m crying just like you guys now.

Bottom line, Miami won, and played like crap. If we can put together some consistent play we should be able to even this series Thursday.

  234. You’re right, every game in the finals is huge! For that matter every game is huge as far as I am concerned.
The Heat did come out strong but I thought the Mavs were going to pull it out in the 4th. Oh well… I guess this just means we will have one more game of Incredible Basketball to cherish. Go Mavs!!

  235. Man, is it ever humid! Just watched game 3 and I’m still stuck to my seat due to the sweat caused by the last minute, really the last second of the game and how it played out. Great last play with the ball thrown right at the basket to try and make the slam dunk!! Really thought the MAVS had this one tonight, but looking forward to game 4!!! Go MAVS!!!!

    Comment by Sonny -

  236. Okay Mavs fans, easy on the refs. It’s just home cookin’. Sure, Wade played an entire quarter with 5, half with 4. Don’t blame the refs. They did what they do. Too much standing around on offense with 6 to go. The last play would have been genius if it wouldn’t have been Wade who rotated onto Jo-Ho. These are the finals, not gonna be a sweep. Not good for business. Stay up Mavs, you played well. Some hiccups here and there, but damn, you boys came back from 10 and 12 down at different points in the game. Keep D-Wade under 35 and it’s not even a game. Go Mavs!!! Dirk is my homeboy!

    Comment by trey allmon -

  237. Refs or no refs, did you SEE the “phantom loss” of about 4 seconds in the last minute of the game??? there was a foul at about 46 seconds left, and the clock ticks down to 42 seconds… people were walking around like “is the play over yet”, dwade dribbles…. but no, even though the whistle blew at 00:46, the time goes to 00:42

    “FOUR SECONDS DON’T MATTER”

You kidding me, Miami? How about that last possession, er, I mean “throw-in”… wouldn’t you rather have 5 seconds left instead of 1.0?

Yeah, my thoughts exactly — go back and watch tivo, what a JOKE, refs! 4 seconds is a lot.

At least now we know Stern wants a little more moolah in extending out the tv coverage a few more nights, meaning –hooray — more of that empty box Marc Jackson and that racist fool Wilbon. Gag.

    Comment by Fred Barney -

  238. The last 4 minutes was the worse reffing that I have ever witnessed. Terry passes to Dirk and Haslem is allowed to plow through him for the steal? Shaq is allowed the push dampier clear across the paint? Shaq can moving screen Dirk from the 3-point line to the paint? DWade can blatantly trip Terry and not pick up his 6th foul? There were a few others, but this was just ridiculous. I’m all about the refs letting the boys play at the end; but they should NEVER win a game for a team like that. It’s sad, the Heat can’t beat us unless the refs win it for them.

    Comment by Jonathan -

  239. 2 points isn’t a victory, it’s a last gasp from a a team that’s just crawled out of a deep pit. We beat the Heat with double digits the last two games and THAT is a victory. We played good ball tonight but those refs were on The Heat’s side obviously. I noticed a few missed calls during the game. Too bad Shaq couldn’t get fouled for knee-capping his own teammate >_< Jeez, those elbows know not friend or foe... they just go. We've got it and we're going to get it. Go MAVS!!

    Comment by Rebeccalee Coventry -

  240. Can someone please explain to me why, after D-Wade picked up his 5th foul early in the 4th quarter; the Mavs didn’t take the ball right at him to get the 6th foul? Did Avery, Del, and the other coaches not realize he had 5? You remove Wade from the game, there goes the catalyst for the comeback. Sure someone else MAY have stepped up, but WHY didn’t they take it to him? Pride? Oversight? Plus another reason to try to isolate on Wade, he’s hurt. Flu + Sinus Infection + minor hyperextended knee (Thanks Shaq) = a vulnerability that needs to be exploited. Then to top it off, he makes a helluva play at the end of the game to deny Josh at the rim. Lets just hope the coaching staff is a little more on top of it next game.

    Comment by jonathan -

  241. I think the game was close either way. I think the refs aside (which were obviously bad for the ENTIRE game, not just the 4th quarter), the biggest problem was to allow the Dwayne Wade to stay on the floor. If you want to run the clock out, run some drives to the basket on him. He will either foul or an easy 2, as opposed to those low percentage perimeter 2-pointers we were taking the last half of the 4th quarter. Just a thought, but Im sure we will pull it out on Thursday.

    Comment by James -

  242. Thursday’s coming, boys…. get ready. Thanks, Mark, for putting together the best team with the best coach. I just moved back to Dallas and this makes it real sweet!

  243. Great game, unfortunately we are not 3-0. I expected the Heat to play a good game, but who knew Shaq could suddenly hit free throws. I think the biggest mistake was not getting foul #6 on D. Wade. Allowing him to play a whole quarter and not getting him to foul out will not help us win. Go Mav’s, take it to the Heat and ice them. Mark although I am a Spurs fan, I am cheering for the Mav’s, but I do believe you are the best owner in the NBA, a true fan with a few dollars to build a great team. I might convert in time since I am in the DFW area. Keep the faith, and bring the trophy home.

WHO THE HELL STARTS RUNNING DOWN THE CLOCK WITH 6 MINUTES LEFT IN THE FOURTH? THAT OBVIOUSLYYY CAUSES BAD QUICK SHOTS BY THE OFFENSE…

what they should’ve done was keep playing hard till the three minute mark. then run down the clock… they had everything going for them until they started running down that longggg clock.

Good basketball for the general public I guess…

  248. Damn…blowing a 10-point lead with less than 5 minutes left. Then blew a tying FT when everything’s on the line.

A choke reminiscent of game 1 against the Suns. Fortunately this one’s an away game, rather than at home.

Anyway such chokes are unacceptable – you don’t have too many chances to make mends.

    Comment by AJ Doe -

  249. a 13 point lead – down to 3 – Dirk wants a timeout – Avery doesn’t .. it was the whole team hiccup! Dirk doesn’t choke (He got it done against the spurs didn’t he) – the whole team did. But lets not blame the refs .. a call will always go one way or the other and not everyone will agree.

    Comment by ZAK -

  250. Mavs were screwed over at about the 46.2 second mark. The whistle blew and Wade even took a shot at the Dallas basket (that went in) but the clock kept running down to 42.8. That was 3.4 seconds that would have made a huge difference at the end when they only had 1 second to go.

I have the video to prove it. There’s nothing you can do about it now, but I would definitely look back the the tape. They even said that the whistle was not really audible because of the crowd noise.

    Comment by ToTheBank -

  251. Come on Ref’s there were four bad calls earasing a 10 point lead. I know they were making bad calls for the first 3.5 quarters but be a little awake for the last half of the last quarter. I know you are not supposed to be biased but hey dont get caught up in the game and start making bad calls. You and I know that the game should not be decided by refs. By the way there should have been way more defensive lane violations by shaq. Ib the first offensive play by mav he was in there for 6-8 sec. If you are going to make the call be fair.

  258. Of course every game is huge in the finals, but this one feels like it’s bigger, or rather, like it could be bigger, depending on how the Mavs play.

The Heat are playing for their lives tonight, they’re playing for respect, they’re playing to avoid being embarassed again, they’re playing knowing that it might very well be their last/best/only chance for a ring. Guys like Mourning, Shaq, especially, I expect them to be attacking and aggressive. But if the Mavs can match the intensity tonight, nobody anywhere will be able to say that Dallas isn’t the best basketball team in the world.

    Go Mavs!

    Comment by Tim -

  259. They’ll probably come out swinging because it’s home but, the way they’ve played so far, none or very few of those swings will connect. It’s just been a total slaughter and I feel it will just continue tonight. GO MAVS!!!

Miami’s got their crowd behind them and judging from previous games in Miami, they’ll have the mercy of the refs too…right Mark?

  275. We were confident(And cocky). We even changed hotels, becasue Miami was a big distraction. We were playing great. But we still lose. Why? Because the Refs weren’t with US. Miami is paying Stern, and the referees. They blew vicious air so our free throws won’t go in. They edited video caps to show Josh was asking for time outs. Then they make the referee say ‘Josh came to ask for time out twice and not once” on a gun point. Wade took superman shots, to move around like that. This shouldn’t be allowed in league. How can one breeze past 3 defenders, even though we push and shove him. Free throws he made looked fishy, something Miami might have done..dunno what though. All in all, there was no way we could have lost it.

  281. Consider this regarding the disparity of fouls called in game 5. (49 shots taken for the Heat vs 25 for the MAvs)
    1. Diop= 6 fouls
    2. Mbenga= 4 fouls
    3. Dampier= 5 fouls
    4. Terry= 2 fouls (intentionals on Shaq in overtime period)
Total= 18 fouls (basically all intentionally committed to put Shaq on the line)
49 (heat foul shots) minus 18 intentional Mav fouls= 28
    That’s 28 (heat) to 25!!!
Where’s the disparity?? The Mavs INTENDED to use their fouls on Shaq and they did. Don’t blame the REFS.

Well, when you are getting fouled out of the game for standing still, it can leave a sour taste in your stomach. Mavs would not know about it, because the refs favor them, obviously.

“Also, is there anyone with more class than Dirk. He makes one comment and the blgggers are all over him.”

    Really?
You’re right forget the fact the officials are there a few feet from the action and can see and HEAR the contact. Yeah, according to you fouls happen all the time and are not called so why not just let this one slide so the poor little Mavs can just win this one.
    Brilliant! Brilliant I tell you!

“Laker fan (routing for the Mavs)”
Do you want to root for the Mavs or rout them? I suggest you let the Heat handle the rout of the Mavs.
Are we just a little upset that an older Shaq will win a title or two with the Heat (only one little win away) while poor little whiney (he should play for the Mavs) kobe can’t win anything by his little bitty lonesome panties in a wad self? Hmmmm? Am I hitting too close to home? Expose him for the loser he is, only won a title when Shaq carried him. He may get so distraught he may have to go out and assault another young girl.
Enough with the lakers they’re not playing for anything significant for many years to come (at the very least).

Besides I want to talk about Mark Cuban. I warned him not to come to Dallas, there’s only enough room for one giant ego in this town (unless it’s TO, he can stay if he helps me win some games).

Yep, pushing in the back is a foul, a rabbit punch to the kidneys even more so.

“Forget the photo, it is irrelavant.”
Of course, facts are irrelevant. The point is that two players were fouling him, one holding his shooting arm, the other pushing his body, and still we hear that it wasn’t a foul. This from a team that got TWO bogus FOUR POINT plays in ONE GAME.

“How many fouls go uncalled in the NBA?”
Alot, the Mavs get away with murder unless it is blatent like they do to Shaq. I saw MBega takling Shaq, an obvious on purpose foul, and Avery was STILL acting like it wasn’t a foul. They went to the refs in advance and said “We are going to Hack-a-Shaq”, and Avery STILL acted like it was a bad call by the refs. Pathetic.

“oh – except for Mr Crybaby Dwayne.”
I didn’t see him crying. I DID see nowitzki throw a temper tantrum and Avery throw a hissy fit at a reporter, but Wade was all class, all day baby.

    Comment by Classless Stackhouse. -

  291. The MAVS have allowed that crap to happen to them. Anytime you allow the refs to play a role in determining the outcome of the game, there’s a 50-50 chance a call may or may not go your way.

The Mavs continue to make critical 4th quarter mistakes that have cost them 2 games. Missed free-throws, mis-handling of rebounds, not driving to the basket, not attaking Heat players in foul trouble, predictable set pieces (two man ball Terry/Dirk) and moving away from the strategy (double/triple teaming Wade) that kept you in the game.

Overall, the Mavericks are a better team talent wise but talent’s not enough and does not win championships. Playing smart basketball does and the mavericks need to do some the latter if they’ll have a chance to win.

The last play of the 4th quarter is indicative of their predictability. You know that the ball will go to either Terry or Dirk so the Heat defense was already waiting with 3 players on Terry’s face…Why not Howard? Howard had an excellent game last night and was shooting the ball extremely well.

Why not continue to double/triple team Wade in the 4th. Let Walker/Hasslem/Posey try to beat you. They can’t and won’t.

In general, Avery Johnson has done a great job thru out the playoffs, but he’s also responsible for a lot of their miscues.

The Mavs need to spread the floor and run. Miami’s transition defense isn’t worth a damn.
If it were Phoenix instead of the Mavericks this series would have been DONE in 4 or 5.

  292. That last foul called to send wade to the line was a disgrace to this game. you have to get raped to get a foul call at the end of regulation situations, let alone a final. And to not get a call like that you have to be accused of rape. Kobe gets hacked all day and never gets a call in triple coverage. Wade drives to the hoop with one on one coverage and gets a whistle every time. Plain B.S. Wade and Shaq are no tandem, Shaq is just riding wades coat tails. Kobe and Shaq were a tandem, always helping eachother out with a pass her, pass there. I dont see that in Miami. And I dont see Miami ever winning a title, especially with Slacker Shaq on the team. Shaq Comeback to Cali and retire that jersey before you blemish it some more…

  298. Patrick Mertz says “The NBA has reverted, courtesy of Pat Riley, to Stone Age basketball.”
Not according to Mark Cuban inhis rip on Riley and the Heat on Letterman, he said the rules changes were made to allow for players to move on the court. Next day? Avery sends his hatchet man to try to take out Shaq, playing Stone Age basketball, just like he did to Johnson in the Suns series.

“Can’t run fast? Can’t keep up with your younger, quicker opponents? Got a roster full of old timers? No problem! Just bump and push and shove and hold! Call it Neanderball!! Caveman basketball at its finest!”
Can’t win while the refs are on your side? Tired of doubleteaming a player because the rest of his team is making you pay? Don’t have an answer to Eastern Conference defense with a team built for the no defense west? No Problem! Just knock the other team’s center into the cameras in the stands, and then claim he should be suspended for going into the stands? Call it Cubanball! Mavs basketball at it’s finest!

“The NBA also has an obvious desire to creat a new poster child. They have also obviously chosen Dywane wade.”
Actually, they chose Kobe, LeBron, and Nash over Wade, but they didn’t make it to the finals, and since Nowitzki has disappointed both in his performance and his temper tantrums after games, they went with the quiet and modest high scorer in Wade.

“Hence, send him to the line 25 times, because he couldn’t possibly shoot 11 for 28 from the field because of good defense, could he?”
LOL! Hence, send Dirk to the line more than ANYBODY IN NBA HISTORY, because he couldn’t possibly shoot 2 for 14 from the field because of good defense, could he? When Dirk got 27 FTs in one game, it is becuase he got fouled, but when Wade gets 25 it is a conspiracy against Mom, Apple Pie, and the American Way?

“NO, he is obviously being fouled, especially at crucial junctures in the game!! What a farce!
The NBA is a basketball league, just not a PROFESSIONAL basketball league.”
When Steakhouse is trying to kill players (Johnson, Shaq) flagrantly, Dirk is destroying property, Avery is ripping Dallas reporters for a simple question, and Cuban is chasing officials yelling at them because he knows he won’t get punished.

Shaq defused the situation with Steakhouse, Riley did not blame the refs after two losses, Wade has been nothing but a gentleman even when being insulted, and Arison has not tried to influence the results of the game.

iami is playing with class, Dallas is not. Perhaps you need to look at which team is acting UNPROFESSIONAL!

  303. You know…as a Heat season ticket holder, natually I’m rooting for the Heat. The one thing I can’t understand is why all these Mavs fan come here, bitch and complain…and find “an excuse” for their loss. I have mad respect for Mark and the Mavs…great team, great city..but don’t come here hatin’ on the refs, hatin’ on the Heat. I mean hopefully you guys ARE basketball fans, and hopefully this IS NOT the first NBA Finals you’ve watched. Give some respect! I’ll be the first to admit, you guys probably have a better team..but we’re not exactly an expansion team you know. We’re not gonna just roll over and let you guys walk to the trophy…this is what the playoffs are all about.

As for as the refs go…please don’t insult the real fans..Mavs, Heat or whatever..and insist that the “refs” WON us the game lol…Cmon guys…The refs were making bad calls THE ENTIRE GAME…Dirk gets plenty of “superstar” calls…just like Shaq, Wade, Lebron, & every other David Stern “marketable” star. Anybody will tell you…the calls even out at the end…always happens. I’ve read some of you guys complain about Dan Crawford…well guess what…for every Dan Crawford..the Heat has to deal with Bob Delaney…the anti-Shaq..and records show, NOBODY has blown more whistles against Shaq in his ENTIRE career (Oh and he did officiate Game 2). And let’s not forget my personal favorite Joey Crawford..no words can describe how many times I’ve wanted to shine up his bald head with the bottom of my shoe.

D Wade? please give credit where credit is due. Nowitzki is a great player..but so is Wade, and this guy has not done anything to piss you guys off. He is as humble as it gets, and thanks to him..He won Game 3 for us. After this is all said and done, and when your emotions cool off..I hope some of you reasonable Mavs fans..or NBA fans, will look back and cherish what a great performance he had last night.

Why all the hating? lol don’t know…any Mavs fans going to Game 4 down here….first beer is on me! =)

  304. The Miami Heat are a mediocre basketball team at best.

  305. I hope Avery learns from this, and not be like Jim Mora or Marty Schottenheimer. Don’t let the door open for a superstar to take over. Just remember though, the Bulls never swept anybody in the finals, and we all know how dominant they were in the 90’s. The worst thing that happens is that it’s 3-2 Heat, and it comes back here. Even with that, I still like the Mavs chances.

  306. Home court is so critical in the NBA….As a true south floridian Heat fan, I literally stood up in my living room for the last 6min of Game 3 praying for a W. The Heat as a team played horribly and as much as I enjoy watching Dirk and co. his free throw miss was HUGE..And as huge, GP knocked down a big shot. I think game 4 is even more important now. But as they say, its not a series until the home team loses.
    Mark, your my hero.

    Comment by Randall -

  308. Winding down the shot clock is just like playing “prevent defense” in football. When teams are winning they should just keep doing what got them the lead. Dallas wins easily if they keep driving to the hoop and creating good shots. Made baskets allow for better regrouping on defense. Last second misses from outside create long rebounds and baskets in transition for the opposing team.

    Comment by Sean D. -

  309. The Mavs gave it away by trying to play a slow down offense with 6 minutes left. They just aren’t built to slow the pace down and rush a shot with 3 seconds left on the shot clock. Keep the tempo up and Miami will fold like an origami swan. Go into the 4 corners offense with a 20 point lead in the final 2 minutes, not a 13 point lead with 6+ minutes left.

  315. I used to love the Mavs when I lived in Dallas, and even when I moved to Houston. The Rockets just didn’t do much for me. But ever since Cuban got hold of the Mavs they have become a bunch of whimps. Whether they win or not they’re complainers, and Mark is the worst of the pack. I’m tired of watching the games on TV and all I see is Cuban’s old tired face. By the way, I hate Shaq and the Heat. But at least they deserve to win. Too bad, because Avery’s doing a pretty good job.

  316. Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and relax. The MAVS will win this series. Consider the following from last night:
    1. Wade sees the season slipping away and assumes leadership of the team from Shaq. About time. He scores 42 points, about time.
    2. Haslem and Shaq both make 2 free throws late in the game? First time that’s happened.
    3. Dirk misses a free throw late in the game? First time that’s happened.
    4. Dallas still doesn’t have to win a game in Miami, but they will. History reflects their ability to rebound from heart-breaking losses (see the Spurs series and the Suns series).

    MAVS in 5.

    Comment by David -

  317. I was extremely disapppointed re game 3. I felt that Dallas gave that game away. I love Dirk, but he still seems nervous. He needs to relax and play ball. Dallas needs to speed up the tempo. Focus more on D-Wade. He seemd to continue to drive to the paint and I noticed how he continued to go base line. Also the Refs missed (2) crucial calls. Gary Payton appeared to have traveled before he hit that shot and Shaq pushed off of Erik D. Also it looked like D Wade tripped Josh before he attempted to make that shot in the 4th quarter. I am praying that the Maveriks win game 4. That would be a shame for Miami to win the series! Dallas is the better team! Go Dallas!

    Comment by Tracy -

  318. So the Mavs didn’t make it last night, or let’s just say it was not the weather, perhaps the Heat (Maimi’s weather – get it ??) got some help from the Refs (as Vegas called and complained how much they would have lost in the SWEEP !!).

Good luck and next year, I hope to see everyone in LA for the playoffs, as Kobe (gets some help from the Shaqless Lakers).

  319. It was hot and pretty humid on my back porch last night too! The last time I was that edgy watching a sporting event was when the Red Sox and Mets played game #7 of the World Series in 86. I am happy to say that I am a recent Mavs bandwagon guy and love the energy of the team – having it reflected overtly by the owner is an added bonus. I feel great about the Mavs chances – it will take more than a Billy Buckner error to derail this gang.

Bulls Fan from Chicago here. Good luck and take it to them tomorrow night!

  322. Great game, even though it didn’t turn out the game I’d have liked. In all honesty, I would’ve been sorta disappointed winning in four with two more games like game 2.

  323. Mark, must be hard having to deal with the Texas weather, hop in your jet and fly to San Francisco. The weather there is nice this time of year.

  324. I am trying to be a Mav fan, have been a Pacer fan for years, but I want to say “wow, what a game by Dampier, a big difference in his hustle and overall ability to convert when given the ball in scoring situations. I wanted to ask how the Dirk and Dampier situation was handled by management last yr when things bet them were not good with Dirk blasting him brutally? I don’t care who wins this year, just great basketball this year…wow, I’ve watched every game I could catch of both east and western conf games….awesome. Hey Mark, hire me, I’m born and raised in Indiana and know b-ball….stay cool.

    Comment by Mitch -

  325. D-Wade went off the same way Terry did in Game 1…what is just getting me is how old Shaq is looking and playing…Dampier is running circles around him…I guess he wont be calling him “Ericka” anymore…maybe Erick should be calling Shaq “Shaqica”…and I am a HEAT FAN!!! Born and raised in Miami…Mark, love your team and what you have done with it..I just wish all owners and bosses were like you..you have made Dallas my second favorite team in the NBA…if not for the Heat in the finals, I would be rooting for you and the Mavs..Good Luck in the series, but I still must say GO HEAT!!!

  326. Hey Mark
Come on down to Tijuana Taxi for the best mojito in Dallas – just ask your bro Brian for directions. Go Mavs!

    Comment by Ian E -

  327. I think the worst strategy in basketball is playing the clock instead of the way you played all game to get the lead. It backfires too often. Just take the best shot no matter when it comes on the shotclock. You may not see a better one later.

And come on Mark, post something already. You don’t want to be seen as a fair-weather friend. It’s easy to post when your team wins. But we want more than a weather update.

  328. I am so proud to watch such great basketball. I have been watching basketball since I was 4, and Magic Johnson played for Michigan State. The Dallas Mavericks have proved they can be and are the best basketball team in the league this year!!. We all knew that Miami was going to come out with vengeance last night, and we were not proven wrong. But the Dallas Mavericks have heart and determination and will. That proves to be a great team! Great job, and do not ever give up.(I know the Mavs won’t). Besides, now we have more great basketball to watch!!

  329. Jrbelle, you speak nothing but the truth. Miami’s mayor is retarded. Of course, ours isn’t much better, but the shrew wouldn’t pull a stunt like that.

  330. hum·ble ( P ) adj. hum·bler, hum·blest

1)Marked by meekness or modesty in behavior, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or prideful.
2)Showing deferential or submissive respect: a humble apology.

  331. Ok, I was going to stay out of the editorializing, but HeatFan needs to get a grip: 1) Learn how to spell & type; 2) We support ALL of our teams – Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars (my lifetime favorite is hockey), Rangers – and are not just fair-weather fans; 3) D-Wade (nicknamed because most people cannot spell his first name) SEEMS to be over his flu – or excuse of the day – and had a good game THIS time; 4) You WISH you had an owner like Mark Cuban – where is the Heat blog? The Heat plane flying around with a sign? The Mavs yacht idea is great – and why was it stopped? Was the Mayor paranoid? *** We love our “Cuban” and support him all the way. He is a player, coach and FAN owner – and all around great guy. Your jealousy is showing! Everyone come out to Games 4 & 5 @ AAC (in thehomeTOWN of American Airlines – not just a satellite hub) and enjoy the show. GO MAVS °O°

  332. HeatFan,

You squeaked out a win, and it took the grace of the Basketball Gods to do it, your best beats the Mavs by a bucket, and that was your best, don’t count on another win, bitch!!!! Now, I hope you Tivo’d the win, it’s the last one you’ll ever see again against the mavs in this series. Even blind squirrels find nuts ever now and then, so, enjoy deez nuts!!!!

  333. Just wanted to say that yes, I’m a Miami Heat fan. But your idea for marketing the NBA Finals is right on target. The Finals could be as big or bigger than the Super Bowl. Super Bowl? One game. NBA Finals up to seven games!!! Needs more hype!!! Keep up the good work…GO HEAT!!!

  334. Last night’s game is in the past. Over. Done. Finished.
Our team did good last night. Let’s concentrate on Thursday night to win. Mark, pass the word to the guys to focus, focus, focus. To play just like in practice, slow, memorized direct plays. Block out the opponent noise. Listen to Avery. And tell them to remember how they use to impress their girlfriends or wives when first dating….when playing high school or college ball they had to make the points to score….. and win the game…..they still have to make the points to score….. and win the game….

    GO MAVS!!!!!!!!

    Comment by Pat Burnett -

  335. By the way Heat fan, the meaning of the word humble must be lost on you. You came to a Mavericks blog and commenced talking about how great your team is after squeaking out a win by 2 points. Boy, that’s humility.

  336. Dennis, do your Celts regret trading Walker? He’s great if you give him 40+ shots per game, otherwise he’s got a big bag of nothing. Walker is an Alien Headed spare.

One question to others wathcing on TV….have u guys seen the crazy camera work….that moves with the flow on the court, looks like somekinda messed up 3D….its annoying….WTF!! C’mon ABC….ur camera crew can do a better job than that.

  343. Its obvious the refs are giving Miami every chance to get back in this series. They had to play out of their minds and have help to pull out last night’s win. The third quarter and first 6 minutes of the 4th quarter was the best stretch of basketball I’ve seen the Mavericks play since beating Phoenix in the second half on the road in Game 6 of that series. Like Chad I didn’t agree with the final play call. I could have lived with going for the win. Always go for the win !

    Comment by Sekar -

  344. Well I was sad that the chance for sweep was lost.
I thought the inbounds play was very excellent.
When Dirk went to the sidelines I was flipping out just like every other armchair qb. Then the pass (a super difficult one) was spot on, Howard was all the way up there with both hands on it. Unfortunately, Dwayne was perfect in his timing as well. Some plays are exceptionally remarkable even when they don’t go your way. Free throws win and lose games. Last second plays are just like throwing dice. If you have to rely on that, you did not play the game as well as you can.

  345. Blah blah blah.. How dare you say…”Wades 42 points is obviously the exception and not the norm.” Wade is the best thing that has happened to NBA Finals since Michael Jordan, next time you see Wade on TV or in person, please bow and if you may…kneel! WAde is YOUR GOD!

  346. Dang, the more I read, the more I cant help but post one more entry. Chad, I totally agree with you…The little General messed up. With 1 second on the clock you have time to catch, turn and shoot. Having your 7 foot go to guy inbounding the ball on the most critical play of the series (so far) is unquestionably wrong. Dirk should have been the first option with Terry and Howard as back ups. If you need a taller player inbounding let Daniels or even Keith VanHapless inbound. But a lob play…sorry AJ, I love ya, but when on the road you always go for the win!

    Comment by Michael Hough -

    Comment by HeatFan -

  348. Why was the play called for a lob at the end? Mavs were up 2-0, why not go for the win? You inbound to any of the 4 three-point shooters on the floor and stick a dagger in the Heat if it goes in. At least you give yourself a chance. Have JET inbound to Dirk who has proven he can shoot over anybody on the Heat. Anyone else think this was a lousy call at the end?

    Comment by Chad -

  349. 6 years and a championship – let’s keep it up! (maybe the Cowboys will be better this year too 🙂 )

    Comment by Megan -

  350. Mark, I disagree. None of the games in Miami are ‘Huge’ since the Mavs will not be on the brink of elimination. They will be in great shape as long as they’re able to steal one of three in Miami.

Enjoyed your spread in Sports Illustrated. Thank goodness you didn’t pose in a bikini.

  352. Hard to say what the worst call of the game was, there were so many to choose from. The missed goaltending call on Zo. The missed wade travel call…

That said, my vote goest to the Josh Howard offensive foul after Shaq mugged him going to the hole. Someone is going to get quite the Holiday bonus this year.

You knew it was coming Mark. In order to win the title you have to beat both of your opponents.

Mavs own this series! Woo Woo!
