Mark,Although I did like to see you come out blogging today about a "non-we got robbed article" such as the HDTV/Dan Rather bit, I can't help but mention how much I would like to see the Mavs lose in Game 6. Especially since I started out pulling for them in Game 1. Please let me explain my transition. I started out rooting for the Mavs, being from Texas, I wanted to have the all new Mighty Texas Triangle for all other NBA teams to fear. Which other state can claim that they have three NBA champions as residents? I also wanted to see a great person/player/coach like Avery Johnson win a title which he deserves "eventually". I even like you as an owner. I'd take you as an owner of any of my other sports teams any day, twice on Sunday. You have done an awesome job with what you started with. However, my view on the Mavs all started to change after the Game 2 victory when I heard you, the city, or whoever it was already planning a parade and had even mentioned a tentative date. So much for that one! Just be glad you still have a chance at all. Even that could be gone in less than 48 hours. How does a team or city for that matter go out and set a date for a parade when they haven't even won a game on the road or even yet to play on the road? Was this the first time a team has been up 2-0 in the finals? Was this the first time a team down 0-2 has come back to tie the series? Just what would make the city of Dallas or you the owner go out and predict a series to be over after only 2 games of a best of 7 series? It astonishes me that you wouldn't even think how bad that would look if what exactly has happened, occurred. Just another reason I hate Dallas sports and the City of Dallas. Nothing but a bunch of pompous arrogant assholes! GO HEAT! Finish off the crybabies so they can "fully" implant foot into mouth.

This game was so ridiculous it's not funny! The refs gave the HEAT this game. The MAVS played a good game, but obviously not good enough. Everyone always says that if you want to be a Championship team, you gotta beat the refs too. I guess this comment has stood true. Go Mavs!!

The NBA is currently one notch above pressional boxing and two notches above The WWE. It's commissioner is only a few notches above Don King, Bob Arum, and Vince McMahon. As a fan, I'm tired of having to cope with critical games being decided by suspensions and biased officiating. For me, it started years ago when several NY Knicks were suspended out of a chance at the finals for leaving the bench (a literal infraction of the rules) even though everyone with a functioning brain (other than perhaps Mr. Stern because he may not have one) knew their actions (coming on the court to observe while well clear of the action) were out of concern for a teammate. If the idea is to punish players and franchises for aggressive actions why is that the fans are always the ones to suffer with them? Why is that whole seasons are lost and potential championships are taken away practically every year? There has to be a better way to solve these problems than destroying the sporting events for fans by putting teams at a huge disadvantage in critical games with suspensions! Maybe it has to all be monetary. Maybe there is another solution, but destroying series after series is not the solution! Second, every serious boxing fan in the world that has ever wagered a dollar knows that part of making an accurate odds line is determining how much of an advantage one boxer might have in the decision because of his promoter, the match being in a home town, or because of youth and future money generating ability vs. an aging fighter that the industry would rather see put out to pasture because his "usefulness" is over.As horrendous as those politics are in as corrupt a sport as boxing, it certainly appears the NBA is using the WBA, WBC, and IBF as their model for officiating. How much "home cooking" and biased officiating do we have to see before the fans realize they are watching a slightly better version of WWE Monday Night Raw. It's ridiculous. Honest mistakes are will be made. Subjective differences of opinion will occur. However, night after night of biased officiating is simply ridiculous. The home team should not get most of the marginal calls - especially in the last few minutes. Superstars should not get the benefit of the doubt over the rest of the players. The rules are the rules and they should be applied equally to all the players no matter who they are and where the game is being held. For me it's all about seeing a fair contest between the best players and teams and wanting to see who is truly the best. The NBA, its commissioner, and the officials make that impossible almost every year with all the suspensions, home cooked officiating, and utter disregard for the fans. Find a way to punish the players without punishing the fans and cut out all the crap politics in the officiating or merge with the WWE!

This is complete bull****! The refs missed 4 calls last nite!!! 1.) There was a push-off by wade on griffin, on the shot that tied the game and sent it into overtime ( but that was a tough call so i cud let that 1 slide) 2.)the backcourt violation...You CAN"T be established in the frontcourt, touch the ball and then travel into the backcourt!!! That is a backcourt violation 3.) The push-off on terry....Terry was playing good defense on Wade, not allowing him to get by, but then i guess he jus trips over his own feet!? I think not, Wade extended his arm and pushed terry down, which is an offensive foul....4.) And finally, i have just 1 question that i would love to have answered... Who fouled wade on that last drive? Any answers....NO!! because he wasnt fouled!!! NO! touched him!!! He went between 2 maverick defenders and wasnt touched! He threw the basketball towards the basketball and missed, and the refs bailed him out, AGAIN!!! Like they have done time and time agian!, I'm not sayin that he's never fouled, i'm jus sayin that he wasnt fouled then and the refsbasically gave the heat the game!!! ....And the bad thing is the mavs still shud have won!! They missed 3 free throws in overtime that would have given them the win easily!!! They have some right to be mad at the refs ( Mavs shot 25 FT to the heat 49) but they have to take some of the blame on theirselves.....I still think its kinda funny that when a certain ref (not sure exactly who it is) officiates a mavericks game, the mavs have won jus won 1 game out of like 15, thats not an exageration! Sumthin is wrong with that, but its not gonna be fixed because Stern hates Cuban. Thats why the mavs are gonna have to blow the heat out in the next 2 games in order to win this series, because as long as Stern is commisioner, the mavs wont win a close game against the Heat! The NBA is jus tryin to make another jordan out of Wade, its not his fault, he's a good player, i like him, but i dont like the refs and the league helping him!

One more thing, don't cry about the Heat shooting more free throws. Avery has been telling them ALL SERIES to TAKE THE BALL TO THE BASKET and STOP SHOOTING JUMPERS. The entire second half the Mavs shot nothing but jumpers. Harris was the only person that went to the rim (3 times to be exact) and was fouled on 1. Style of play dictates if you get fouled. Drive to the basket, get hit, you get a foul call. Shoot fade away jumpers or 2 dribbles and pull up for a jumper there's no foul.Stop crying and strap for Game 6 !!!
