I am thinking of starting a business, and taxes is an important issue. I will be planning for taxes to avoid falling into the horror stories we all hear about companies not paying their taxes. If your plan was implemented, I would stand to make a TON more money. That stimulates my economy, which stimulates my employees' economy, which stimulates retail economy, you might be on to something here...

Great ideas but I don't look for them to be put in place. Our government doesn't care about small business owners. They are busy taking money from us to give to huge corporations that they say are too large to fail.

Eliminating payroll taxes on small businesses would allow for more cash flow to be reinvested into the business. It could also be a way to increase wages for employees which could increase spending, increased spending equals more sales taxes. It's a win win.

A good idea but I think it would make more sense to have the tax-free status based on corporate earnings instead of number of employees. It could be something like the 1st million in earnings is tax free (no taxes of any kind), 2nd million tax at 2%, 3rd million at 3%, etc. If it was based on employees companies could simply convert everyone but the top 25 people to contractors and run a tax free business even if they have billions in income.

This is an excellent idea that should be seriously considered. I tried to start a business the traditional way and was stymied at every juncture here in Texas. I had a great idea and had to shelve it because it cost too much to do it \"properly\". Now I work for a large bloated company that moves like a fat person that has just eaten BBQ for lunch.

the real economic problem stems from the fact that the money supply has been excessively expanded to pay for the wars and the outrageous expansion of government. this is why stuff costs more. you are being taxed via inflation, and it is causing serious economic problems. these problems will continue, unfortunately.

the real solution is for the american people to get a f\'ing clue and start being active in politics. this means knowing more about what is going on in this country than about american idol.

the solution to all american problems, and even many global problems, begins with 9/11 truth.

I can certainly relate to this from opening up my own boutique brokerage.. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, fees, fees, fees.. Who had time to sell real estate? It was just better off working under a large brokerage, let them deal with the logistics and send a portion of the commissions off to New Jersey somewhere.
